Housing - Beyong sanitation and electricity

Where?  Athlone Community Centre(corner Klipfontein / Jan Smuts)

Ongoing campaigns demanding decent sanitation and reliable electricity are important.

But ‘housing’ is about more than that: it’s about affordable decent living conditions, access to and availability of nutritious food, a safe and green environment with spaces for recreation. It’s about being respected as people, who have the same needs and dreams as those who live in middle-class suburbs.

This is a participatory workshop that aims at identifying collective strategies for action.
